MCC Development provides the engineering and construction resources to design, execute, and manage the chemical storage room addition or facility upgrade for a predictable cost. Our design/build services, which are illustrated below, can transform your most challenging demands into productive assets for safely storing, dispensing, and handling hazardous materials.
Flammable Liquid Warehouse
MCC was chosen to execute and manage this 1200 sq. ft. warehouse addition, which affords climate controlled storage of Ethanol, Butyl Alcohol and Methanol used for manufacturing cancer treatment drugs. This free-standing modular warehouse saved $200,000 vs. conventional construction.
Unprotected Chemical Process Area
A leading supplier of pre-finished metal coils used in the building and appliance industries required a cost efficient design to protect personnel from the volatile solvent fumes and isolate the manufacturing facility from fire hazards.
Modular Fire Rated Enclosures
This design/build method uses a co-engineered system of 2-hour fire brick and precast ceiling panels to provide an EPA Approved enclosure for the prime and finish coater machines. A ceiling mounted HVAC unit provides tempered makeup air with a special scrubber unit to remove contaminates from the exhausted air.
Segregated Control Room
Providing 2,100 feet of floor space, the 2-hour fire rated process control rooms improve operator safety and guard against potential fires and explosions. Special safety features include fireproof vision windows, CO2 fire suppression, explosion proof lighting, and bridge crane for retooling of the coater rolls.
Segregated Chemical Storage
Design/build solution for segregated storage and containment of acids, caustics and corrosives utilized by pilot plant operations of major pharmaceuticals firm. Two hour fire rated, detached structure is UL Classified to comply with International Building Code (IBC) and OSHA Std. 29 CFR, part 1910.
Modular Hazmat Warehouse
This 5400 cu. ft. modular warehouse provides segregated storage for 216 palletized drums of inks, solvents and cleaners at a cost savings of $400,000 compared to brick and mortar construction.
